I find that in the world – with in this day and age – that with things in general having to be perfect (GM food, photoshop images, life going according to plan) people actually like things that are not so perfect. Where I live, there has become a growth in craft markets and hand-made objects, which contain a more ‘expressive’, ‘impulsive’ nature to them. Also the ‘retro’ revival theme going around. Last week we got some sparklers out and I was just randomly taking photos of my sister twirling around with them. I wasn’t setting the camera up perfectly, but I like how the images aren’t spot on – has that lo-fi look to them.
So, what do you think about images not being ‘spot on’?? Do you see their imperfections and critic it, or appreciate it’s raw beauty?
